Farming Valley School


That oversized bell tower makes this one-room schoolhouse a standout.

    I wonder why the tower is so large - seems way out of proportion to the building itself. Maybe they thought the sound of the bell would carry further and hustle kids along so they'd be on time.

      Looks more like a look-out tower than a bell tower. Can't imagine what they'd be looking out for though.
