Nice monument. Both of the one-room school houses I attended have been turned into homes now. When I went to public school there were three on one road, all within about 5 miles and all of which had grades 1-8. Finally they amalgamated them and it ended with grades 1-4 in one building, 4,5, 6 in another and 7 & 8 in the other.
