Gabriel's Bridge

The bridge crosses the South Saskatchewan River near Fish Creek, Saskatchewan.  It was named after Gabriel Dumont who operated a ferry at this location from the early 1870's to the early 1880's.

  1. So cool that it's named for Dumont! I didn't know that.

    1. A ferry ran, under his name, until 1968 when the bridge was installed.

  2. A stunning bridge and I'm sure he would be pleased to know it was named in his honour.
