On the Road Day Seven - Chailey

Chailey Cemetery and...

...Saint Alban's Anglican Church.

Some fall colours are beginning to show.

The church was built in 1908.

The cemetery...

...with late afternoon shadows.

Little church in the countryside.

Photographed at Chailey, Alberta on September 22, 2021.

    1. Did get to see the interior a few years ago. It's been locked up on my last few visits. A gem it is.

  2. The church looks quite small in comparison with a lot of the other ones and rather nicely tucked into the edge of the trees. Someone put some thought into the actual location of this one.

    1. Many of the Anglican country churches were very small (seating fifty or less).
