Sheep

A family of sheep near Elstow, Saskatchewan.

The spotted one was friendly but I soon realized it was impossible to pet his nose and take a picture at the same time.  Must remember to bring treats.

Photographed on October 9, 2021.

  1. It always seems weird to me to see sheep on the prairies. When we were in rural England, sheep were EVERYWHERE.

    1. Seeing a herd of sheep on the prairies is still a rare occurrence.

  2. Good find! Would be fun to go back in the spring and see the lambs.
