Червона церква влітку

Red church in summer.

The view from the front corner of the cemetery...

...which has a number of occupants.

The free-standing cross at the head of the cemetery.

A trio of headstones beside the bell tower.

The green asphalt shingles are in high contrast with the red bricks.

The cornerstone of the church.

One last look at the beautiful red church on my way back to the road.

Saint John Ukrainian Catholic Church is near Rushville, Saskatchewan.

Photographed on July 26, 2021.

  1. You're right - this one is a beauty! Looks to be well cared for too, which is a bonus.

    2. The church and cemetery are very well maintained. There were pallet loads of new shingles on the north side of the church. Maybe next time I see the church it will have a new roof.
