I've purchased a couple bouquets of tulips this spring too. Curious (aren't I always?!) to know what that plant might be on the left of the photo? Is it a wandering jew?
You're right...it is a wandering Jew. In days gone by just about everyone had a wandering Jew in their kitchen. The proper genus name for it is Tradescantia, and all the plants in my new indoor garden are varieties of the same family.
Good idea! And those tulips are so vibrant and gorgeous! I bought some yellow ones at Easter for the same reason!
ReplyDeleteYellow is usually my first choice too but thought these rosy-pink ones were a nice change of pace...and they fit right in with new foliage plants.

ReplyDeleteIt's a pleasure to have tulips blooming indoors!
