poppies have been a favourite of mine for years. My mother used to sneak around the neighbourhood with her pocket full of poppy seeds, scattering them in every flower bed and garden she could find. Not sure if the neighbours knew who was guilty, but I suspect they did.

ReplyDeleteKudos to your mom! Many varieties are tough as nails and will grow in just about any type of soil.
