"O"


The congregation of Our Lady Queen of Peace Roman Catholic Parish was established in 1904.


A small log and mud church built at the time was soon outgrown so in 1919 the larger church seen in these photos was built. 


The majority of the parishioners were Polish and Ukrainian immigrants from Galicia.

    1. You'll never guess what I saw today near Athabasca...an old log and mud church. Will post photos of it after the "alphabet" posts are done.
