I always think it's interesting that these schools are seemingly in the middle of nowhere. I suppose they were centralized in the area so kids wouldn't have to walk too far.
ReplyDeleteThe idea at the time was to locate the schools in such a way that the kids were within 3.5 miles of a school. In Saskatchewan there were over 5000 schools districts.
