Osborne School

An abandoned pioneer school southeast of Iddesleigh, Alberta.

The building itself is still remarkably straight and solid.

Photographed on June 26, 2017.

  1. Yes, it still looks very sturdy! That was my first thought on seeing these photos. It was built to last!

    1. I think you'd love this one! It faces west so the best time to photograph it is in the afternoon.

  3. I like this one! It's great that it has the sign too - wish more abandoned buildings had that identifying signage.

    1. The school and the sign just seem to fit so well into the landscape. I'm sure it's a "landmark" for the locals...and now for me as well.
