A red-brick one-room schoolhouse near Woolchester, Alberta.
It was just a short detour off Eagle Butte Road on my way to Saint Margaret's so I thought I'd stop by to see it first hand.
Very few historical brick schools still standing in Alberta and this one is still in pretty nice condition.

Makes me wonder how many miles some of the kids had to travel to get to school.
ReplyDeleteNot too far actually. I think the rule of the day was that the kids didn't need to travel more than two and a half miles to get to school.
