An awfully big church for tiny little Cooks Creek.
That's for sure. It was even grander than I'd imagined.
Hard to think of an suitable adjective to appropriately describe this church. Wow!
I know what you mean. "Wow" is almost an understatement. It's a "must see."
I've always been amazed that such a grand church is located in basically the middle of nowhere... and still used.
Father Ruh had a vision...and made it a reality.
I agree - very spectacular! Two of the photos almost made me think that it was lit with neon lights.
On the day of my visit the light was not the best. The shots taken from the back of the church are good but the others are so-so at best.
How magnificent!
If you're ever in the area it's well worth the visit. The church is open on weekends.
