That must be a domestic bunny released "in the wild" because no wild rabbit would be brown inJanuary.
These are our native Mountain Cottontail bunnies. Ten years ago they were a rare sight here but now not a day goes by without a sighting. Seeing a bunny always makes the day better!

He's found a good spot to have a rest - his colours blend in.
Uh huh. Most everyone in town has a resident bunny now.
