Six Arches

A six arch bowstring bridge near Scotsguard, Saskatchewan.  Enjoy!

The bridge is visible from the highway, the well known Red Coat Trail.

Photographed on September 30, 2017.

  1. I think that this the only six arch bridge of its kind in SK. Concrete arch bowstring bridges are one of my interests and they tend to be hard to find. This one is a beauty.

    1. I don't think I've seen a larger one in Saskatchewan now that you mention it. Thanks Dale!

  3. It looks in remarkable shape for being relatively unused. Nice one!

  4. I understand that most of them are still standing because they are virtually indestructible, so it would be very expensive to take them down. Good news to me!
