Saint Peter's at Muenster

A "country cathedral" in Muenster, Saskatchewan.

The church was built between 1908-1910 and is still used on a daily basis.

The crenellated twin towers are about seventy feet tall.

I love the rounded apse.

The church seats over four hundred souls.

Saint Peter's was recognized as a Municipal Heritage Property in 1984.

    1. Thanks BW. Saint Peter's Abbey and College (on the other side of town) is spectacular as well.

  2. Wow - this one almost looks as though if the wind were in the right direction and strong enough it would tip over!
