Early Morning Garden

Readlyn S.D. No. 3293

A very handsome old school in Readlyn, Saskatchewan.

There must have been a lot of kids in the area to warrant the building of such a large country school.

Max and Wendy

Meet Max and Wendy.

This is Max...

...and this is Wendy.  I think they were both happy to get a visit from a passerby...I know they brightened up my day.

Looks like they have a pretty good life out on their farm near Macoun, Saskatchewan.

Photographed on June 23, 2023.

Ray Opera House

In the early 1900's the main floor operated as a grocery store and the upper level was the opera house.

Imagine going to the opera on a Saturday night in 1908...in northwestern North Dakota.

The Ray Opera House is now a museum.

Photographed in Ray, North Dakota on June 21, 2023.
