This was a headstone detail I hadn't previously encountered during a cemetery visit. An unexpected treat.

I've never seen a detail like that either - at least the picture won't be liable to fade over time.
ReplyDeleteI was surprised and pleased to find a few others like this on a subsequent trip to the same area. The image is a kiln-fired ceramic photo which will last for hundreds of years in the elements.
