Lincoln Valley

Lincoln Valley Township School is near Fortuna, North Dakota.

Schools in North Dakota were often named after the township where the school was located.  This one is only about ten miles south of the Canada/U.S.A. border and it's a beauty.

Bridstow School Markers

Bridstow School was near Kitscoty, Alberta.  The schoolhouse is long gone but there are three signs marking the spot at a country crossroads.  The most prominent is one similar to many school signs in the Alberta countryside.

A concrete monument...

...with a tiny handmade metal schoolhouse on top.

A sign memorializing the school in a "street sign" design.

All three signs at the fence corner.
