Please remember to wear a poppy.
A war memorial near Dafoe, Saskatchewan.
B.C.A.T.P. stands for: British Commonwealth Air Training Plan.
The following photos show the remains of the air base where hundreds trained to be airmen during World War II.
Photographed near Dafoe, Saskatchewan on March 3, 2020.
Good post.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteBeing an air base you would expect to see something airplane related, not a tractor. Interesting!
ReplyDeleteI think the tractor was added as a touch of fun.
DeleteExcluding the memorial cairn, all of the structures (including the one the tractor sits on) are all remnants of the air base.
